My name is Ty and I am a second-year Environmental Studies and Art double major. I am interested in the ways these two fields can work in conjunction with each other to further our society. It is very fitting that this summer I will be working with the Norris Center to illustrate rare insects and plants in Santa Cruz to create a comprehensive guide of these species. I am broadly interested in ecology, natural history, and field research. In my free time I enjoy biking, knitting, sewing, swimming, surfing, cooking, and reading books.
