Hello! My name is Isabelle Santiago and I am going into my senior year of undergrad. I am currently majoring in Marine Biology and Latin American and Latino Studies.
I am from Los Angeles and this summer I have been working on overlapping sea nettle and anchovy data using species distribution models (SDMs). I have been expanding my R skills through this internship and meeting some very cool marine biology people!

I hope to continue pursing marine research and gain as much hands on experience as possible. Some of my hobbies I enjoy are reading, tide pooling, and hanging out with my pet crested gecko!
