Hello! My name is Isabel and I am a third year Ecology and Evolution major. This summer I will be working in the UCSC Natural Reserves collecting data on aquatic invertebrates and stream health! I’m honored to have been chosen as a CAMINO intern this year, and I look forward to working alongside my mentor Chad and other peers and professionals in the field.
I hope to connect what I learn this summer to a future career working in conservation, and I plan on solidifying my skills in data collection, scientific communication, and project development. Aside from academic pursuits, I enjoy dancing, singing, reading, and hanging out with people who are important to me.
