My name is Salma (any pronoun) and I’m from East Los Angeles, California. I am a third year Marine Biology major. I am excited to be working in the Fiechter and Lamborg Lab with my mentor Ilysa Iglesias!
I am interested in better understanding deep sea dynamics and how anthropogenic mercury is having an impact on mesopelagic fish. I enjoy taking naps, going on walks, and watching movies!
