Hello, my name is Sally Heneghan and I am a third year Marine Biology student at UCSC. I am currently working in the Kroeker Lab with Racine Rangel, studying how diet and different pH treatments of adult abalone affect their offsprings’ ability to survive. Academically, I am interested in marine ecology, conservation biology, and education.

Outside of classes, I spend my time managing the Merrill Pottery Co-op, biking around Santa Cruz, and enjoying the beach. I am really looking forward to learning more about physiology and getting a better understanding of what it is like to participate in marine research.
