My name is Mia Womack, I am a third year marine biology student. I am from Sacramento, California. I will be in the Beltran lab with Stephanie Adamczak as my primary mentor this summer. I would like to work in marine conservation, specifically preservation and restoration of biodiversity and marine species. My favorite marine animal is a ringed seal, the smallest phocid, because they remind me of my pug!
