Hi! My name is Mia, I’m a fourth year Cognitive Science major with an emphasis on Evolutionary Biology. I’m interested in becoming a Biopsychologist/Behavioral Ecologist, with a specific interest in mammalian wildlife behavior, physical cognition, and neurophysiology.
So far I’ve taken a great interest in terrestrial carnivores, and am very excited to work with John and Chris within the Wilmers lab on the Puma Project! I grew up in Long Beach, California, and have lived in Santa Cruz for the past 3 1/2 years. In my free time, I love to rock climb, read, hike, and car camp in any gorgeous location I can find.
