My name is Malia Mosser and I am from Santa Clarita, CA. I am a transfer student and soon-to-be senior majoring in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. This summer, I will be participating in the DNA-based Biodiversity of Sierra Streams project along with Rachel Meyer, David Herbst, Eric Palkovacs, and the CALeDNA lab. One of my main focuses with regards to conservation is protecting the biodiversity of our planet, especially by getting out in the field and tackling issues related to climate change. When I’m not in the field, lab, or classroom, though, you can always be sure to find me in the dance studio!
