Hello! My name is Jayden Washington Samuels and I’m a 2nd year (going on 3rd fall 2024) student in EEB! I’m super excited to be in this Camino cohort as an intern for the Zavaleta lab of the Sierra Nevada Rosy Finch project!
I’m a very avid birder and herper—in my free time I’ll mostly be doing these things, in addition to cycling, climbing, and wildlife photography! My career goals after undergrad are to go to a masters program to study conservation ecology of birds and/or reptiles and pursue the conservation of these creatures thereafter!
