Hi! I’m a nonbinary, disabled, Latine scientist who is studying plant sciences and has a special interest in different ecosystems. I love to learn anything I can about nature, native species, and ecological processes, including conservation methods.

During the summer of 2024, I am working in the Pittermann Lab with Hugh Leonard to study the effects of fire on a mixed evergreen forest through analyzing the xylem anatomy. Along with my passion for science and learning, I play and write tabletop games as well as sew!
