My name is Ian Budesa and I am a fourth year student with a double major in Art and the Bio B.A! I am from Mt.Shasta and am a First Generation student. I was selected for the Forest Restoration with the UCSC Natural Reserves and am excited about getting to work outside in the field and gain more knowledge of what I could potentially be doing in the future. I chose this CAMINO position because I have lots of interests in habitat restoration/conservation and I prefer doing field work. I am also interested in Herpetology and plant physiology as well! Outside of school I enjoy getting to explore new parts of the area, hiking, gardening, cooking, baking, pursue my artistic endeavors, reading, seeing friends, and when I can, visit family back up in the mountains. I am very grateful for this position and look forward to presenting what I will be researching.
