My name is Elisabeth Stansell, my major is Marine Biology, and I am a third-year transfer student. I’m participating in the Dungeness Crabs and their competitors in Tomales Bay with Ben Walker in the Kroeker Lab. I’m passionate about learning how organisms interact with each other and their environment, and what we can do to maintain the balance of their ecosystems. I am especially interested in Arctic research and conserving the habitat and animals that live there because of how sensitive the environment is to climate change and human interactions. I’m passionate about swimming and scuba diving, I enjoy knitting and crocheting, and I’m from Long Beach, California.
