Damiana Rojas

A group of six hikers walking through a grassy meadow towards a forest of tall evergreen trees under a clear blue sky.

My name is Damiana Rojas and I am a second year Environmental Studies major.  My hometown is Imperial Beach, California; a small beach town in San Diego. This summer, I am going to be looking at Chemosensory Behavior in Mexican Neonate Garter Snakes through interning with the Norris Center.

I am hoping to help advance the research on Mexican Garter Snakes to help improve conservation efforts for the species. A fun fact about me is that I am a proud mom to my cat Penelope!
