Bella Shamoon

A group of six hikers walking through a grassy meadow towards a forest of tall evergreen trees under a clear blue sky.

Hello! My name is Bella and I’m a third year student in EEB. I’ll be working closely with Nikka Malakooti on urchin black spot disease this summer in the Kroeker lab.

I’m very passionate about studying the intertidal, and want to go to graduate school to study marine invertebrate disease further! Outside of school, I am a classically trained musician, avid flower and insect enthusiast, and amateur photographer.
