Autumn Wright

A group of six hikers walking through a grassy meadow towards a forest of tall evergreen trees under a clear blue sky.

My name is Autumn Wright, I use She/her pronouns and I am a third-year Marine Biology student at UCSC. Academically I am interested in marine ecology, community interactions, and global change ecology. I want to study how species respond to a changing environment to help better inform conservation efforts.

This summer I will be working in the Raimondi-Carr Lab with Calvin Munson, studying Giant kelp sporophytes through cultivation and sea urchin behavior. In my free time, I love to ride my bike around Santa Cruz, sail in the bay, and be crafty.
