Step 1: Open the application now to give yourself an idea of the time and effort that is required to apply
Step 2: Scroll through and determine what materials you’ll need to gather
Step 3: Prepare your answers to the questions in the application in a separate document so that you can copy and paste them into the application when they’re prepared

Timeline for applying and application decisions
Early January: applications open for CAMINO Summer 2024 internships. Applicants will rank their preferred research projects.
End of February: applications close. CAMINO selection committee will review and select finalists for interviews with mentors.
Early March: interviews between finalists and prospective mentors. If selected as a finalist, this will be your chance to chat with a prospective mentor, review the summer project, and make sure you feel good about your working relationship for the summer.
Mid March: intern-mentor matching is complete. You will officially be notified at this time if selected as a CAMINO 2024 intern.
